Does flavored vodka like absolut peach etc have added sugar/calories?

Somewhere It said that is has similar calories as plain vodka but I asume to flavor it they would put fruit syrup and sugar in it. Anyone know|||For vodka no, as another example gin doesn't have extra calories and it is flavored. It is because the vodka is often mixed with the flavorants during distilling, the flavors will accompany the vodka but the sugar will be left behind.

Premium vodkas are also strictly filtered, multiple tmes.

Or for cheaper ones they just add artificial flavors later.

I'm sure some would add it with sugar if they were really low level, but then they probably wouldn't bother with flavored ones anyways.

Flavored rums do have extra sugar and calories, but less than 3 grams and less than 5 extra calories per shot.

Spirits are typically about 60 to 70 calories per shot. So differences are negligible and if it really mattered you wouldn't be drinking anyways.|||Yes.

Compare labels between a regular bottle and flavored one.|||NO. Most quality vodkas such as Absolute or Grey Goose don't add any extra sugars to their product. If you remember your basic chemistry, the alcohol acts as a transport agent to whatever is being infused into the vodka. It only imparts the flavor of whatever is being used, not the calories or sugars. Check out Drinkmixer.com you can get a lot of info there. 1oz. of Vodka is about 69 calories and not much of anything else. Cheap vodkas may add stuff, but then why would you want to drink that.|||absolutely (pun intended): YES|||yes|||tons of calories|||Yes. That's why flavored vodkas can freeze and unflavored vodkas will not.
